What is waiting?
Waiting is the act of being patient and remaining still until God guides me or takes action on my behalf. It’s a valuable virtue that I strive to practice, knowing that only those with true patience can fully embrace it. Waiting helps me avoid acting impulsively out of impatience or pain. Instead, it encourages me to place my trust in God’s wisdom rather than relying solely on my own understanding.
This process fosters in me a mindset of surrendering to God's will. When my breakthrough finally arrives, I find myself wiser, kinder, gentler, and more generous. I become filled with patience and develop an attitude that prioritizes God's purpose above all else. Ultimately, I feel malleable in the hands of the Creator, ready to confidently declare, "Here I am, Lord. Send me."
